My name is Trudie Jopson Williams.

     This is my seventh year as the Director of the Nationally Acclaimed Chevals of Creekview and Mustang Pep Squad Sponsor. I have twenty-four years of dance experience and love everything about the art. My background is combined with competitive rhythmic gymnastics, cheerleading, high school and college drill team, and college pom squad.

     I received my Associates Degree from Trinity Valley Community College where I was the Captain of the TVCC Cardettes. I then attended Stephen F. Austin where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and English Education. While at SFA, I was a member of the NCADanz National Championship Pom Squad.  In 1998, my team and I were named the Division IA National Champions earning SFA Pom Squad's fifth title.

     I believe that competitive spirit organizations like drill team, cheerleading, and pep squad provides students with valuable skills that will help them become responsible, dedicated, diligent, and successful in life.

    I am married to a wonderful man, Mark Williams.  Together we value time with our family, our handsome and clever boxer, Festus Fletch, and our extended family of students and parents both past and present.

     My educational philosophy is to
