Day 1: |

Demonstrate how to use
watercolors to create a watercolor wash for the background. Students
will each create a watercolor wash for the background. Desired effects
may vary - For this particular project, we were discussing how weather was
portrayed in paintings. |

Day 2: |

Students will use a
variety of neutral colors to cut out and glue on various shapes to create a
cityscape. Yellow was used as the accent color for windows. |
