Each year, the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation sponsors the School Bus Safety Poster Contest.  This competition requires that the poster be accomplished in the classroom under the supervision of the teacher.

Each fall when the theme is announced,  students are given class time to create an entry for the contest.  Last year, the theme was "Avoid Harm, Obey the Stop Arm".

The theme for the 2008-2009 school year will be:

"Cross in View, it's the Right Thing To Do!"
