Throughout our community, men are joining forces to help students at Tom Landry Elementary succeed inside and outside of school. Landry's mentoring program, which we have named the Dad's club, matches adult, male mentors with elementary school boys to offer emotional support and direction.

What is the Purpose of the Dad's Club?

Dad's Club is a school-based mentoring program of male adults that is intended to:

• Connect elementary students to caring adults who offer support and direction as students pursue academic success.

• Expand options for students by focusing on the unique needs of elementary students.

• Establish an ongoing service network that is inclusive and youth-centered.

•  Increase hope, motivation, commitment and academic achievement of all students.
