Text Box: Hello!  My name is Lindsey Stukey and I am the proudest Art Teacher you'll ever meet.  This is my first year at Riverchase Elementary, even though I was fortunate to student teach here in the Spring under the phenomenal Lindsey Hanna. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas, Summer 2006, with a BFA in Visual Art Studies.  I was raised in a small town in East Texas called Malakoff.  I feel like I live in a big city out here, and I enjoy it unless I'm stuck in traffic. I have a passion for teaching kids, and teaching art is just a bonus.  My dream is for all of them to grow and be more than even their minds could dream, and to treat others with compassion.  My biggest passion is for my God, who has allowed me this great responsibility to love and care for each student. Right here, I would just like to thank my family for stretching my expectations beyond what I could imagine and have taught me to consider others and to do what is true in all cases.  So thank you Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Brother, and all my cousins.  Thank you.
