A.        CLASS EXPECTATIONS

 

¨      Follow all school rules (tardiness, profanity, cell phones, etc.)

¨      Be in your assigned seat and ready to begin class when the bell starts to ring.  Failure to do so will result in a tardy.

¨      All work must be done in pencil.  Work done in ink will result in a 5 point penalty.

¨      When absent, it is your responsibility to get any missing assignments.

¨      Homework is assigned daily.  You must show your work to receive credit for the assignment.

¨      No food or drink in the classroom.  The only exception is bottled water.

¨      No fund raising during class.

¨      No gum chewing during class.

¨      You are expected to be courteous and cooperative at all times.

 

 

B.        GRADING POLICIES

 

¨      Homework grades count 10% of the average.

¨      Daily grades count 30% of the average.

¨      Tests count 60% of the average.

¨      The current syllabus gives dates for homework assignments, quizzes, and tests.

 

 

C.        TUTORING

 

¨      Monday and Thursday afternoons from 2:35 to 3:15.
