- Your child's daily
folder and student planner are expected to be returned to school every
day.
- Homework that is
sent home must be returned the next day, unless otherwise indicated.
Your child will miss recess to complete homework that is not done or not
returned. This includes the daily reading log! Please have
your child read for at least 20 minutes each day and complete 2
sentences about their reading. Other homework will be assigned
regularly. We will have a
spelling test each Friday.
- Please continue to
work on handwriting at home. This may seem unimportant to you or
your child, but remember: if I can't read it, I can't grade it!
- If you child is
going home a different way than usual, PLEASE send a note. If
their ride home changes during the day you MUST send a fax. Our school
requires all changes to be in writing. The LCE fax number is

- Be sure to complete
a background check form if you plan on volunteering for field trips or
visiting our school for any reason. Due to increase in enrollment,
please limit your visits for lunchtime to once a month.
