All About Ms. Stephens  

Hello!  My name is Becky Stephens and I am so glad that I am teaching at Las Colinas Elementary!  This is my 11th year to teach, and my third year to teach 2nd grade.  I taught Kindergarten for 8 years before that.  I'm excited about all the things we're learning this year and this is going to be such a fun time for all of us!

Let me tell you a little about me: 

I live in Irving with Mitch.  We have a beautiful baby girl named Olivia (we call her Livvy) that we love VERY much!  Livvy is 2 years old and is learning to do so many new things.  Mitch and I bought a house earlier this year, so we spend a lot of our time taking care of the house and doing fun (and some not so fun!) projects.

My favorite thing to do is be at home with Mitch and Livvy, but some of my other hobbies are working in the yard, spending time with my friends, and going to visit my family back in Waco.  I have a brother and a sister who live there and both have families of their own now, so I love to go see my two nieces and my nephew.  My mom and dad also live in Waco, so when I go down to visit, I usually get to see the whole crew!
