ABOUT OUR WORD WALL... Words outlined in black are our "glue words." Glue words don't follow a normal spelling pattern or sound like they are spelled so we need to "glue" them in our brain. Words highlighted in a color are word family words. These words help you spell other words. For example if I can spell can I can spell man, tan, ran, plan, (any -an family word).
