How many books have you read?
I would not be a good reading teacher if I myself did not love to read. I am an avid reader. Some (my husband) might call me a "book nerd". I embrace this with open arms. It's true, I am a book nerd!
Last year, 2008, I had a goal to read at least 50 books. Sadly, I did not meet my goal. However, I was not too disappointed in myself. I read 47 novels and over 14,700 pages!

As of August 27, I am on my 31st book for the year!
