"Pink on the Square"
Students Leadership along with family, friends, and faculty walked on September 20th in downtown Carrollton for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. This is the second year the leadership academy participated in the fund raising event. Again the academy had a cupcake sale and donated over $1000.00 to the foundation. We won the prized "Pink Shoe" award again for being the participants which donated the largest amount. Congratulations to the community and all of the cup cake makers for their help.

November was also the time the student leaders did their service project "Giving Thanks!". Every year non-perishable food items are collected for the North Texas Food Bank. This year we surpassed our goal and collected over 3,000 items for the food bank. Thanks to the hard work of our student leaders, the staff and students at Sheffield, and our community helper - Wal-Mart.
