Fundraising Campaign

   Cajun Jambalaya Dinner - Friday, December 7th 5:30-7:00pm: "Three Busy Chefs" from Louisiana will be at Sheffield Intermediate to prepare a Cajun jambalaya dinner.  Dinner will be $7.00 or 2 or more plates $5.00.  Chairpersons: Kevin Guillot, Robyn Holmes, and Amy Miller - Earned $2,435.00

  Raffle - Friday, December 7th 6:45pm:  Tickets will be sold in advance and the night of the Cajun dinner.  A flat screened, colored TV will be donated by a local merchant. Tickets will be $3.00 a piece or 2 for $5.00.  Tickets will begin to be sold on November 12.  Chairpersons:  Kevin Guillot and Melissa Johnson - Earned $800.00

Red Brick Pizza Nights - Tuesday nights: November 27, December 18, January 15, February 19, March 18: Red Brick Pizza is located directly across from Prestonwood Baptist Church on Midway and Hebron.  A percentage from all sales on these evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm will be given to the Leadership Academy. Chairpersons: Kevin Guillot - Earned so far: $241.08

  Candy Gram Sales:  Student leaders sold candy grams that were delivered to students during Holiday Parties.  Chairperson: Valorie Selaiden -  Earned $93.00

Snoopy Winter Pictures:   Pictures of students were taken and distributed on Holiday parties.  Cost was $1.00 each.  Chairpersons:  Kevin Guillot and Robin Holmes - Earned $159.00 

Mary Kay Lipstick/Lip Balm Fundraiser: All leadership reps going to Philly received ordering information on Friday, January 25th.  This will be going on for three weeks.  Orders are due Friday, February 15th.  Chairperson:  Ms. Stone

"Sheffield Idol"  Student and Teacher Talent Show-Date March 6th 7:00-8:00: Cost per ticket will be $2.00.  Three acts from each grade level will be picked to participate.  Some teacher acts will also be performing.  The student act winning the contest will receive $100.00.  Chairpersons: Valorie Selaiden  Earned: $600.00

Silent Auction - Date: March 6th 6:30-7:00:  This silent auction will be of various Themed Goodie Baskets.  This will take place right before Sheffield Idol. Chairpersons:  Angela Kneupper and Melissa Johnson  Earned: 656.00 (with money collected from snacks too)

  Sheffield Shops - Date: Saturday, March 8 8:00 am - 11:00 am:  Community-wide garage sale that will take place in the cafeteria at Sheffield Intermediate.  Donations are being taken now!  Chairpersons:  Evelyn Rangel and Rachel Garza  Earned: 1600.00 (with money from snacks too)

It's My Lucky Day - Before Spring Break in celebration of St. Patrick's Day: Raffled off lunch with Mrs. Miller at Applebee's, free cupcakes for the student winners class, and a dozen green balloons. - Earned: $480.00

Snack Sales - November 14 & 28; December 12; January 9; 16, 23, 30; February 20 & 27; March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - 3:15-3:30: Chairpersons: Robyn Holmes

Sponsorships:  We are accepting donations from any Dallas area corporation, businesses, organizations, affiliations, and individuals. Chairpersons:  Kevin Guillot, Bob Hopkins, Amy Miller, Sheri Plybon, and Valorie Selaiden - Earned so far $10,962.50
