Essay Question
Spring 2009

There is a rumor that CFBISD is going to close all of the Tech Ed programs, and that there will not be any more Tech Ed classes offered.

1) Do you agree with the district, that they get rid of all Tech Ed classes?
2) Why, or why not?
3) What three reasons can you give to support your decision?

Your essay must have at least 5 paragraphs, including, but not limited to:

- one opening paragraph
- at least one paragraph for each of your supporting reasons
- one closing paragraph

Your essay must include at least one "Thinking Map". You must also have a rough draft included with the final copy.

The essay may be hand written in black ink, or it may be printed, double spaced, Arial font, 10 point.

The essay is due on or before Friday, May 29, at 4:15pm, in the Technology Education classroom, to Mr. Scrudder.

If you know that you will not be able to turn the essay in on the given date, you are encouraged to turn it in early to ensure receiving credit. The essay will NOT be accepted after the given date and time, for any reason.
