PURPOSE: To visually and physically demonstrate knowledge of basic astronautics.
INTRODUCTION: The astronautics unit will have hands on activities as well as written work. Test scores will account for 60% and daily work will account for the other 40% of the Six weeks grade average.
TASKS INCLUDED IN THIS L.A.P.:
1. List the basic parts of a rocket, and define each.
2. List the basic flight sequence of a rocket.
3. Name the components of a rocket engine.
4. Design and construct a rocket that will operate with at least 70% accuracy
