thinking skills, help you maximize your individual aptitudes
and follow safe
laboratory practices.

expect you to be prepared for class (bring your materials & complete your
homework).

expect you to be on time to class each day.

expect ALL work turned into me be your own.

expect you to follow my directions and to obey lab safety rules at all times.

expect you to report any breakage in the laboratory and to pay for any damage.
I
expect all work to be turned in on time.
I
expect you to be responsible for your make-up work when you are absent.

will be considerate, fair, and positive in my interactions with you.

will believe in you no matter what.
I
will give you a zero on the paper, N or U in conduct, and call your parents if
I catch you cheating.
Supplies:
2”
three-ring binder
(to be used only for chemistry); One composition book; highlighters;
Blue or Black pen ; Scientific Calculator- Warning, you will need
this calculator by Monday of next week so do not wait.
Grading:
Major Exam/Project/Formal Lab
60%
(3 each 9 weeks) If you miss a test or Project, you must make
it up as soon as possible, make special
arrangements with me.
Daily Grades, Quizzes, and Labs
30%
(many of these) You have 1 late day to get daily
assignments and labs turned in for a 75.
After this time, all late work will make no higher than a 50. If you have missed a lab, you must make
arrangements to make it up as soon as possible, waiting too long will cause you
to be unable to make it up.
