Welcome to my webpage! I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended college at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology in 2004. I have lived in Dallas for three years. I am a newlywed and a new step-mom to a seven year old, who I absolutely adore. This is both my second year teaching and my second year here, at Dan F. Long Middle School and I absolutely love it! Teaching Language Arts is so rewarding, because through reading and literature students can make connections and gain experience to apply to their own lives everyday! It is so important that you encourage your child to read and/or read with your child daily.
