Martial Arts Extravaganza: The KICKSTART Martial Arts Extravaganza will be held at Maple Lawn Elementary on September 29, 2007. All of our demonstration teams from the Dallas area will be performing for your entertainment along with the Dallas City Wide Demonstration Team. This event will start at 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Karate 2 and Karate 3 students will also have the opportunity to train with World Champion Van Fraser on sparring drills and techniques. The cost for this exciting event will be $1.00 for student and $3.00 for adults at the door.

KICKSTART Fall Championship Tournament: The KICKSTART fall championship tournament will be held on Saturday October 27, 2007 at Lancaster Middle School. The tournament will start at 8:30 am and last until 4:00 pm. All KICKSTART student are invited to attend this tournament. Tournament registration forms must be turned in to Mr. Leach by Friday October 12, 2007. The tournament registration fee will be $10.00 and must be turned in with the registration form (NO REFUNDS). Spectator fee will be $1.00 for students and $3.00 for adults at the door of the event. Make plans now to attend this amazing event.

KICKSTART 15th Year Anniversary Belt Ceremony: KICKSTART is turning 15 years old in December and we would like to invite you to our celebration. We will have a special belt ceremony for the first 3 KICKSTART schools in Dallas  (Maple Lawn Elementary, Florence Middle School, and Vivian Field Middle School). This is an exciting event and all of our KICKSTART students and family are invited to attend this landmark occasion. The celebration will be held at Lancaster High School Coliseum on December 12, 2007 at 7:00 pm.

TPMS KICKSTART Belt Ceremony: The TPMS belt ceremony will be on December 19, 2007 starting at 7:00 pm in the gymnasium of Ted Polk Middle School. All friends, family are invited to attend this amazing event. Please have students report to the gym by 6:30 pm in their uniform. This event is FREE to all students and guests.

KICKSTART Qualifying Tournament: The KICKSTART Qualifying Tournament will be held on Saturday March 1, 2008 at Lancaster Middle School. The tournament will start at 8:30 am and last until 4:00 pm. KICKSTART City Championship Tournament: The KICKSTART City Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday April 5, 2008 at Lamar Middle School. The tournament will start at 8:30 am and last until 4:00 pm. All KICKSTART students that placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at the Qualifying Tournament are invited to attend this tournament. Tournament registration forms must be turned in to Mr. Leach by Friday March 21, 2008. The tournament registration fee will be $10.00 and must be turned in with the registration form (NO REFUNDS). Spectator fee will be $1.00 for students and $3.00 for adults at the door of the event. Make plans now to attend this amazing event.

KICKSTART Summer Tournament: The KICKSTART summer tournament will be held on June 19, 2008 at Ted Polk Middle School. The tournament registration forms will be handed out to all students attending summer karate from their instructor. The registration forms will be due to your instructor by Monday June 16, 2008. The cost of the tournament will be $10 for competitiors, $3 for adult spectators, and $1 for student spectators.
