Volleyball

Volleyball is a game of mistakes. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win. |
We start by learning to throw and catch fleece balls over the net. Then we play a throwing and catching game called Netball. Netball is played like volleyball, except you throw and catch. In volleyball, you bump, set, and spike. As the students learn to rotate, keep score, and share the ball, we gradually add volleyball skills to the game. In 5th grade, the students have worked up to a game called bump ball and some classes even play volleyball.
