Guest Instructors

Lock Down
-
All action stops.
-
Equipment is placed on ground
directly where standing.
-
Silence and listen for teacher
directions. (if there is no teacher, proceed in a logical manner as
usual.)
-
Form a line as you walk safely
and quietly to the safety area inside.
Equipment
-
Don't touch any equipment until
told to touch it
-
If equipment is in your squad
spot, sit beside it
-
Consequence for touching
equipment early: you don't get to use it
Excused from Class
-
Ms. Rushing will let you sit out,
but you need to have a note from a parent explaining why you did not
participate
-
No habits (This should be a
"happens once" kind of thing)
Drinks
-
Classroom teachers should allow
students to drink following PE class
-
Ms. Rushing schedules drinks, if
an activity has taken water from your body
Class Atmosphere
-
We lift each other up not put
each other down
-
No one should be afraid to try
because they think they will be laughed at
-
Booing is a put down, Cheering is
a lift up
-
If it would make you feel bad,
don't do it
-
If you wouldn't want Ms. Rushing
to do it to you, don't do it to others (that is how you can tell if it is
wrong or right)
-
Be proud of each others'
accomplishments
-
When a student is speaking; look
at them and listen to them like you would like them to listen to you
