One student from each class will be given the Jacob Lawrence Award for each three week progress report period. The student from each class who best exhibits "Exceptional Creativity, Dedication to Hard Work and Outstanding Citizenship" will be given a laminated card which they can proudly wear on their lanyard. At Ted Polk, we stress the importance of responsibility and character development through initiatives like Make Your Day, the 5 P's, Character Cards, Awards Assemblies and more.
