Ranchview High School offers several options for students to recover lost credits, or accelerate their studies and earn additional credits. There are costs involved in all of these, and the fees are the responsibility of the student and their family.

Credit recovery is available for students who need to make up a credit. It can be done in one of three ways outside of the regular school day.

1) Night School

2) CFBISD Virtual Campus

3) Summer School

4) Credit by exam

Acceleration is offered to students who wish to complete high school in 3 years rather than 4, or who wish to get some of their credits ahead of time to avoid over-packed schedules and make room for some desired electives that may otherwise not be available to them. Acceleration is the responsibility of the individual student and their family, and is not guaranteed to allow early graduation. You must speak to your counselor and set up a plan if you wish to be an early graduate.
