I am not sure it's that we don't take time. I think we simply can't. There are just so many hours in a day. I know that some of the things on the Best Practices document aren't done at the frequency needed, if they get done at all. I am sure we would take the time if we could. I feel many teachers would give their right arm for the opportunity to do the things we know are good for the childrent. This is why many teachers are frustrated and approach burn-out almost daily.
