I agree, we should be able to meet the needs of our G/T students just as we do our stuggling students. When we meet with our kids during small groups we are working to their needs. We have used this time to help those that are struggling and those that need assitance with a grade level skill. But this can also be the time to give the "extra" to the G/T student. But, why should it be looked at as something different than meeting any of the others "need"? We are working to the ability of the child regardless of whether they are struggling, average, or G/T.
