To
be eligible, a child must be four
(4) years of age on or before September
1, 2007, and meet one of the following
criteria: be eligible by income
(based on a low income verification
form which is available at any school)
or demonstrate limited fluency in
English (verified by district testing).
To register, parents need to bring
an original birth certificate, social
security card, current immunization
record and proof of residency (lease
agreement or house deed, utility
bill with name and address, driver’s
license), proof of income (two recent
pay stubs) and emergency phone numbers
for home, family physician, dentist
and three personal emergency contacts.
Pre-kindergarten classes begin
Tuesday, September 4, one week later than classes
for other C-FB ISD students. From
Aug. 27-31, pre-kindergarten teachers
test, register and place children
in classes. Students must complete
the eligibility process before they
can enroll in pre-kindergarten. |
