The high school academies will be visiting POLK 8th grade classes:
Academy parent meetings will be held at the following locations:
High School Academy Parent Meetings
Dear Carrollton-Farmers Branch Parents: Come learn about the high school academies at any one of the following meetings. We will be discussing the application process, required classes, field experiences, internships, and career opportunities.
ALL MEETINGS BEGIN AT 7:00 P.M.
Monday, November 30th (Creekview H.S.)
Tuesday, December 1st (Newman Smith H.S.)
Wednesday, December 2nd (Ranchview H.S.)
Thursday, December 3rd (R.L. Turner H.S.)
NOTE: Representatives from each academy in C-FB will be presenting at each meeting.

Parent Self Serve (PSS) is available for parents to register and view information about their student(s).

Student must pick up a Schedule Change Request Form from Student Services on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
The completed Schedule Change Request Form with parent signature MUST be returned to Student Services by Friday, September 4th.
A teacher signature is REQUIRED to get into or out of band, orchestra, choir, karate, or athletics.
Completing a Schedule Change Request Form does not guarantee a schedule change.
Schedule changes will be made according to the availability of the class and overall affect on the student’s schedule and class size.
Students will be called up by the counselor and notified of any changes being made to their schedule.
Students should follow their existing schedule until they hear from the counselor. DO NOT attend a class that is not on your schedule.
