The Bare Bones About Me
I have been married to my wonderful husband Doug for the last 31 years, and we have two great kids Paige and Jenna. As much as I love my family, my passion is for my Kerry Blue Terriers named Brie, Maggie, and Murphy. We work hard at agility training like the dogs below!
Education:
I graduated from TCU with a Home Economics and Early Childhood Education degree. I went back to TWU to get an elementary education, kindergarten, and special ed certification. Then I went to A&M Commerce (East Texas State) and received a masters in Special Education.
Work:
I worked 2 years at Children's Medical Center on the Psychiatric Unit. I then taught in a PAS class in Richardson ISD for 4 years and I taught Kindergarten for 1 year. Next, I stayed home and raised two girls. My younger daughter, Jenna, attended McKamy. I came back in January of 2005 to work again in the resource class. I am happy to be joining the McKamy staff and look forward to getting to know its students as well!
