Content: Part 1 = Careers-in-Television | Part 2 = Lesson | Part 3 = Project
Each Module begins with Careers-In-Television. This printed worksheet introduces you to real-life television professionals who work at a major TV station and outlines their duties, education, and experiences. Follow-up questions help you focus on particular aspects of the person's job and how it fits into the production of a TV program.
This CIT module spotlights the Talent, specifically a news anchor and a weather anchor.
The Talent are the performers of the video production--the faces on the TV screen.
Obtain the Careers-In-Television handout from Ms P and read about News Anchor Mary Hamill and Weather Anchor Pat Michaels.
Respond to the questions on the front/back of the sheet, and hand it in to Ms P when finished.
