Guidance Program

Philosophy:  The student is their best resource.  Emotions and self-esteem are experienced based.  A student must be helped to understand the natural and logical consequences of their behavior or experience.  Their emotions and self esteem result from their experiences.  Then the student must be taught to create experiences that enhance self-esteem and create a more positive emotion.

The guidance program was developed from state guidelines for guidance programs, district mental health goals, child development, and teacher request.
