To get Ted Polk ready for TAKS, the Math Department will be including a daily math moment each day on PNN. Today’s math moment says: A circle is not a polygon because it does not have line segments. It is equal distance from the center all the way around.
Attention All 6th & 7th grade girls!!!!! The Newman Smith Cheerleaders will be having a cheer and dance clinic on Saturday, December 13th. All girls who come to the clinic will get to perform in the C-FB Cheer and Dance Holiday Show on December 18th. Interested? Get your information packets from Coach Wandersee in room D-122 this week!!!!
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program and Ted Polk Middle School is to collect toys and distribute them to needy children in our community. Ted Polk’s Goal is to deliver 200 shiny, new toys for the holidays to youngsters in our community. Bring in new, unwrapped toys or cash for needy families on Monday, December 8th through Friday , December 12th to the Cafeteria during lunch OR to Mrs. Wandersee’s classroom before school in room D-122. You can earn 1 “Panther Buck” per toy or $5.00 cash that you donate. We can help make the holidays special for everyone!
