Weeks of 9/28-10/2

Technical Theatre I--

Students are taking SMART goals vocab quiz 9/28 over words 1-10

Students are learning shop safety and becoming familiar with how to use tools in the shop.

Students can begin earning their shop hours for this 9 weeks period.

Summative Grades Due:

Notebook Maintenance 10/2 (6 weeks update)

Shop Hours (3 by end of each grading period)

Students are required to attend a live theatre performance and complete a critique for each nine weeks.  Link to the play credit form on the Handouts Page.

Should have turned in from the beginning of the year:

• All supplies (Novels for in class reading)

• Signed and Notarized Medical Release form

• Signed Syllabus Acknowledgement form

Technical Theatre II--

Students are preparing for the musical by building scenery, painting, and stage managing during rehearsals.

Every Tuesday and Thursday they have required work for the "Phantom of the Opera design project"  based on their choice they are working on elements of scene design, costume design, or publicity.

Summative Grades Due:

Shop Hours (14 by end of grading period)

Production work during Shop Hours

Design work for Phantom of the Opera

Students are required to attend a live theatre performance and complete a critique for each semester.

Technical Theatre III/IV--

Students are preparing for the musical by building scenery, painting, and stage managing during rehearsals.

Every Tuesday and Thursday they have required work for the "Phantom of the Opera design project"  based on their choice they are working on elements of scene design, costume design, or publicity.
