Registration is for students in the McKamy attendance area or who have an approved district transfer.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2006.
Pre-K students must live in the McKamy, McWhorter, or Country Place attendance area.
Pre-Kindergarten students must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2006 and must quality either through income or language.
What you need for Registration:
1. RESIDENCE VERIFICATION * Two Proofs of Residency

Lease/contract or mortgage, closing contract from the builder, or tax statement that shows your recent payment on the house.·
One current utility bill (i.e. electric, water, gas) or cable bill.If residing with another family in the Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, you must first go to the Office of Student Services to obtain proper residency permission to attend McKamy. This office is located at 1820 Pearl Street, Building B, Carrollton. The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
2. BIRTH CERTIFICATE
3. IMMUNIZATION RECORDS (nurse will examine them)
4. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD if the child has one, otherwise the school will assign a number
5. PHOTO IDENTIFICATION of parent or legal guardian
First day of School is August 14 for Kinder through 5
First day of School is August 21 for Pre-Kindergarten
