We have had a busy Fall.  PreK had a visit from the Big Red Fire Engine!!!  The firemen were wonderful - they let the students try on their hats and jackets.  They talked to them about what to do in an emergency. 

The PreK also spent time studying about Fall by collecting leaves from the McKamy school grounds.  They had a wonderful time stomping through the leaves.

Several of us were honored to walk in the "Light the Night" walk in honor of one of our wonderful students.  This is a great organization that raises money to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Our PTA had a great Cultural Heritage Night on November 17th.  It is always great to celebrate the many cultures that make McKamy a special place to be.
