This is a READ180 class.  Each class has 3 rotations….

30 minutes = whole group instruction w/teacher using the rBook

20 minutes = modeled/independent reading audio/paper back books

20 minutes = individualized computer instruction

 Whole Group Instruction:  We are currently on Workshop 3 and the classes may be on different pages. 

Modeled/Independent Reading:  Students either listen and read along with the audio book they have chosen or independently read the paper back book they have chosen.  Once the book is completed, the student logs into the Reading Counts program and take the computer test.

Individualized Computer Instruction:  Students sign in to READ180 and work in the zones… Reading Zone, Word Zone, Spelling Zone, Success Zone

Wrap Up:  Review Today’s Learning Goal.  Check planners.  Put things away. Take Points.
