All About Me

I am from New Iberia, Louisiana which is in South Louisiana.  It is a little city where just about everybody knows everybody.  In South Louisiana we have a festival for just about everything, New Iberia's special festivals are the Sugarcane Festival, Bunk Johnson Festival and the Gumbo Cookoff.  My parents, most of my family and friends still live in New Iberia where I love to go and visit.  I have a younger brother who is attending graduate school at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  My family and friends are very important to me and I spend a lot of time with them. 

I graduated from Louisiana State University in Elementary Education. I love watching football especially the LSU TIGERS and the New Orleans Saints. I have taught both fourth and second grades in CFBISD. 

Some of my favorite things are spending time with my large family and friends, reading, teaching, listening to music, watching sports and movies, eating and cooking Louisiana foods, Christmas and Mardi Gras.
