About myself:

I am from Kobe, Japan. I came to America to study when I was 18 years old. I have been
teaching Japanese at Turner High School for 14 years, and learning new things every year. I
live with my husband and 2 daughters in Irving and one college student in Denton. I have been here over 30
years, and got so many things from America, and I would like to return anyway I can. I became a teacher, so I
can return what I have received to the students. The students will learn the Japanese culture from many
different aspects.
I put the syllabus for each level on this site: Japanese I, Japanese II, Japanese III, Japanese IV.. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
I have an exciting news this year. We got to climb up the top of Mt. Fuji this year with another
teacher. I recommend that it is better to look at Mr. Fuji than climbing up. Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain (3700 m).
We go to Japan during the summer for a week every year, and the students are encouraged to come along with us.
This is a very good experience for the students who are learning Japanese language.
