Text Box: Classroom Procedures/Expectations
Come prepared to class, bring all materials needed.
Do Not be Late. I define tardy as not being in your seat, ready to learn, when the bell rings. Remember, passing periods are 4 minutes.
The first task you will have everyday is to copy the daily Learning Goal and agenda for the day into your own agenda.
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the work you missed. Do this either before or after school, not during class.
I will collect any assigned homework at the beginning of class.
All work needs to be done in blue/black ink. No torn out spiral pages will be accepted.
No food, drinks, or GUM allowed.
The school dress code is strictly enforced in this class. Know what it is, and follow it correctly.
We will work until the bell rings. The bell does not dismiss you, I DO!!
We will have interactive notebooks in this class that you will use EVERYDAY, you will not be able to take these home unless specific homework is assigned. You must pick this up before the bell rings, and put it back before you leave class.
Text Box: How we will learn…

?    This classroom will be safe and open environment that everyone can learn in. I expect the utmost respect will be given to ANY person who enters the room.
?    Use your time wisely in class. There is no downtime. We will be working all period.
?    Pay attention and follow directions the FIRST time they are given.
?    If you need help, ask for it.  Do not be afraid to ask questions during, before or after a lesson. My job is to help you learn.
?    Do your own work and get it in on time.
?    Take responsibility for your learning and your grades.  There is a huge difference between WORK and QUALITY WORK.  If you are going to take the time to do something, make sure the product is worth your time.  Be proud of what you do.
?    I WILL NOT ACCEPT RUDENESS in this classroom.  No “Shut-ups,” name calling, or any use of inappropriate language.  These things will not be tolerated (this includes vulgarities spoken verbally or through body language.) YOU CHOOSE YOUR OWN ACTIONS AND YOUR OWN CONSEQUENCES
