I am a R.L Turner Alumni from the class of 1996. I received my Associates Degree from Brookhaven Community College and then transferred to the piney woods of East Texas to Stephen F. Austin University. I received my B.S in Agricultural Development in December of 2002. I began substitute teaching for Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD in January 2003 at Mary Grimms Educational Center. At the end of the 2003 spring semester I was hired on at R.L Turner as one of the Agriculture Science Teachers. Not thinking that I had enough challenges being a new teacher I also decided to continue on in my educational career and try for my Masters. I attended Texas A&M-Commerce and graduated with my Masters in Agriculture Education in December 2005.
