ABOUT ME

This is my family.  They are my life.  Need I say more?

OK, I'll say more...

This is my fifteenth year at Newman Smith High School.  I have taught IPC, biology, environmental systems, pre-AP chemistry I, and chemistry I regulars.  I am currently teaching chemistry I regulars and pre-AP chemistry I.

I was the sponsor for Asian Culture Club for eight years and I served on the campus improvement committee for two years.  I am currently an instructional facilitator.

Before teaching, I was involved in Cataract research at Alcon Laboratories.

I graduated with honors from Arlington Lamar High School in 1989.

I received my bachelors of arts in biochemistry from UT Austin in 1993.

I received my certification to teach chemistry and biology from UT Austin in 1995.

I received the Teacher of the Year Award in 2003 from the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

I was nominated and included in the Who's Who Among America's Teachers over multiple years.

I was recognized as a VIP (a member of the Very Important Profession of teaching) by the CFBISD school board in February of 2010.

OK, that's enough about me....
