Library Hours / Scheduling
The Thompson Library operates on a semi-flexible schedule. Students may come to the library to check out books, to study, to read quietly, or to use the computers for research and word processing. Students are encouraged to come to the library as often as needed. We have a morning schedule from 8:15 - 9:00 each day. Anyone can come to the library during that time. After 9:00 each day, all students are allowed to come anytime there is not a class in the library. From 9:00 to 3:00 is the time when classes can sign up for specific lessons in the library to be taught by the librarian.
Number of books students may check out at one time:
Kindergarten and First Grade: 1 book
Second, Third, and Fourth Grades: 2 books
Fifth Grade: 3 books
