Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
I've only gotten about half-way throught his book but I can already see why it's so popular. Though it has a vampire, it's really more romance than horror story. And fellas, you know how I'm always telling you to read a romance? Well, you can't do much better than this one! It's not syrupy, and it will give you some real insight into how to treat a girl and also how to handle your own, sometimes stormy, emotions.
