Jodie Lewis is currently in her ninth year as choral director at Creekview High School where she conducts Canticum, Legends and A Cappella Choir.  While at Creekview, her choirs have consistently received Division I ratings at UIL contest and various festivals.  In 2002, the A Cappella Women's Choir was selected to perform at the American Choral Directors Association Southwestern Division Convention.  Her previous teaching experience was spent in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district at Hurst Junior High as both assistant and head director.  In 1998, while at Hurst, the Mixed Choir was selected to perform as an honor choir at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention. 

Mrs. Lewis graduated from Plano Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Music degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. At SFA, she was involved in the A Cappella Choir, opera chorus, Madrigal Singers and Mu Phi Epsilon.  She is currently the Region 24 High School Division Vocal Secretary.  In addition, she  frequently serves as a adjudicator for various contests throughout the state.
