About Me
Hello!
My name is Angela Lenox and I am so excited to be here at Freeman Elementary! Go Tigers! I graduated from The University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) with a degree in Education. This will be my third year at Freeman Elementary and it is thrilling to be back! I really feel that teaching your child is an honor, as well as an incredible responsibility.
My philosophies
I believe that all children deserve a safe, positive work environment that is conducive to learning. I have worked very hard to create a classroom climate in which all students feel free to take risks and to be themselves. Our classroom promotes an appreciation and respect for all of our differences and similarities. I realize that all children are unique and learn in different ways. I employ various teaching methods, techniques and strategies to ensure that I am meeting the different learning styles and levels of my students. I will continue to do my best to make sure that your child has a motivating and safe learning experience in this class.
More about me
I have lived in North Texas since 2003. I grew up in a military family and have had the privilege of living and traveling all over the world before finally settling down here in North Texas. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in places such as Hawaii, Virginia and South Korea. I have also traveled to Japan, England and all over the southern U.S. When I'm not cooking for family and friends or planning my next trip, you will find me cheering on my favorite sports teams (Redskins football & MAVS basketball) or curled up with a good book.
If at any time, you have concerns about your child's progress, please send me a note, an email or give me a call. My planning time is from 10:50 - 11:35 am. I look forward to working with you throughout the school year!
