Your involvement and participation in school is essential to your child’s success.  We believe that your child’s fullest potential can be reached when home and school work collaboratively.  As a Las Colinas parent, you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities to be involved by:

    *Joining our school PTA
    *Attending monthly PTA meetings
    *Volunteering your time and energy to various classroom
      and school projects (like cutting, coloring, copying, etc. weekly work to prepare for kindergarten lessons)
    *Serving on various PTA committees
    *Attending parent-teacher conferences scheduled
      throughout the year
    *Reinforcing skills and themes introduced at school
    *Checking daily folders, monthly calendars and weekly
      homework
    *Chaperoning field trips

For your child’s safety, volunteers and visitors are required to check in with the office and sign the volunteer/visitor log upon entering and leaving the building.  All guest must wear a visitor sticker for identification purposes.
