Important Information about Criminal Background
Checks
Parents who intend to volunteer with their
child's class, or with PTA, and any parent who wishes to have lunch in the
cafeteria with their child MUST have a criminal background check completed by
September 14th. Without a completed background check, you will only be allowed in
the school building while escorted by a school staff member (for example, parent
conferences or meetings) Below are the step by step directions for completing a
criminal background check online. If you have any problems, please contact the
Volunteer Coordinator, Jennifer Jameson, at

If you do not have internet access at home, you
may submit your background check on the school Volunteer Check-In Computer that
is in the front office.
Go to the
Volunteer Page at
https://volunteer.cfbisd.edu

Volunteers
Join CFB ISD
On the next
screen, enter your personal Information, Click SAVE, then scroll back to the
bottom and click CONTINUE
*your password must have 8 characters

Choose
Elementary
Schools
Las Colinas
Elementary
YOU MUST
CLICK "ADD SCHOOL OR CENTER"
You can add
other schools you have children in.
Then scroll
down the page to click
Continue |

Enter 1st
Child's Name, Choose their School, and their Grade
Click Add
This Student to my Profile
Repeat for
any other CFB Students
Scroll Down
to
Continue |

|
Click
Go To
Background Check |
|
|
|
|
|
Complete all
information and click the green
Submit
Application button |
After you submit
your application, you can log out. You will not need to log back in until the
beginning of next year! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
