Testing ideas for standardized tests.

Draw your times tables chart at the top of the sheet.

Draw a number line for money problems, positive and negative integers.

Draw pictures for all math problems.

List important data you have memorized like: PEMDAS.

Make a rectangle for all fraction problems.  Draw a line down the middle and you can compare two fractions just like Fractions Bars!

Draw cubes and squares for area and volume questions

Underline the important info in the math problems.

Check all your answers before turning in the test.  Remember  UPS check!

When checking start at the back and work your way forward.

Rest between sections, close your eyes and relax a minute.

You don't have to start on number one.  Choose a question you know to get started.

Skip the questions you are unsure of and come back to them later.

Fractions if the denominator is the same check the numerator.  The bigger numerator is larger.
