SIX FLAGS FUN DAY!!! Students going on the trip will meet at the front of Long MS on May 3 at 9:00 am (or earlier...don't be late!!) to receive their shirt and board buses to Arlington. We will plan on returning back to Long before 7:00pm. All students should arrange to be picked up at the school no later than 7:00pm. Students should plan on traveling light! Bring your extra money for meals, drinks, souvenirs and lockers. You should also bring your cell phone if you have one. If you are planning on riding any water rides, make sure these items are in a waterproof zip-lock bag. Don't forget to put on sunscreen before you go! |

At Dan F. Long, we are privileged to host our
district's Solo and Ensemble contest this year. The event is on Saturday,
May 10. Individual times will be given out to the students participating
during the week of April 28. |

Instrument Sign-Up Night 5th Grade parents! Please read! Dan F Long Orchestra will hold its instrument sign up night on Thursday, May 1 from 5pm to 9pm. You may drop by the Long cafeteria anytime between 5 and 9 to have your child sized for the instrument of their choice. Plan about an hour for your visit to select an instrument. Please come in through the school's front entrance and proceed to the cafeteria, where greeters will meet you. Please bring a form of payment to the event. Questions?
