All-Region Orchestra Audition

 Region 24 is made up of Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Denton ISD, Frisco ISD, Grapevine ISD, and Lewisville ISD.  From these districts, All-Region orchestras are divided to 3 orchestras such as Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, and Philharmonic Orchestra.  Students all over the Region 24 will audition for these orchestras.  It is an extreme honor to be selected as member of All-Region Orchestra.  All members of Long MS Philharmonic and Symphonic Orchestras are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to audition!!!

 Auditions:    Saturday, October 24, 2009

Where:          Blalack Middle School

What time:   Reserve the whole day!  (Audition times will be announced after the region entry deadline.)

Entry fee:     $10 (cash or check, payable to LOSF)

Money due:  Wednesday, September 23

 ****If you are selected to participate in the All-Region Orchestras, you MUST attend the TWO REHEARSALS and the CONCERT (all rehearsals and the concert will be held at Newman Smith High School.)

         Rehearsals:  Friday, December 11

                             6:30-9:00 pm

                             Saturday, December 12

                             8:30-11:45 am

                             11:45-1:00pm (lunch provided by Long Orchestra)

                             1:00-3:00 pm

          Concert:      Saturday, December 12

                             4:00pm
