All-Region Orchestra Audition
Region 24 is made up of Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Denton ISD, Frisco ISD, Grapevine ISD, and Lewisville ISD. From these districts, All-Region orchestras are divided to 3 orchestras such as Bach Orchestra, Beethoven Orchestra, and Brahms Orchestra. Students all over the Region24 will audition for these orchestras. It is an extreme honor to be selected as member of All-Region Orchestra. All members of Long MS Philharmonic and Symphonic Orchestras are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to Audition for All-Region Orchestra!!!
Auditions: Saturday, October 18, 2008
Where: Creekview High School
What Time: Reserve the Whole Day! (Audition times will be announced after the region entry deadline.)
Entry fee: $10 (cash or check, payable to LOSF)
Money due: TBA
****If you are selected to participate in the All-Region Orchestras, you MUST attend the TWO REHEARSALS and the CONCERT(All rehearsals and the concert will be held at R. L. Turner HS)
6:30-9:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 13
8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (lunch provided by Long Orchestra)
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
CONCERT: Saturday, December 13, 4:00 p.m.
