The district contacts the following: TV Stations: Channel 4, Channel 5, Channel 8, and Channel 11. Radio Stations: KVIL 103.7-FM, KRLD 1080-AM, WBAP 820-AM However, other media outlets do run school closings.

Decisions regarding school closings or delays are made around 5:00 a.m., and the media is contacted at that time.
