Hello. My name is Mrs. Keefe and I am currently teach Seventh Grade Math and PreAP Algebra I. This is my fourth year teaching at Long Middle School. Mrs. Keefe returned to school at The University of Dallas to receive her teaching certificate in math for grades 4-8 and grades 8-12. Prior to this she received a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Rochester and a masters degree in business from Carnegie Mellon University. Mrs. Keefe was a health care consultant for several years after receiving those degrees.

Mrs. Keefe has three children. Her oldest is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin and her older son is a sophomore at the University of Chicago. Her youngest is 12 and a seventh grader. She also has a crazy dog. In her spare time Mrs. Keefe likes to read, spend time with her family and exercise. She has continued to run three miles four days a week. Her favorite subject has always been math. She also enjoys going to her sons soccer games. He plays for Solar. She also spends time listening to her son practice his percussion instruments.

Mrs. Keefe's goal this year is for all her students to be successful in math!
