For homework in Science:  Anytime they are to do a worksheet that is multiple choice, they need to write notes at the end of each choice.  They are to put why the correct answer is correct and why the wrong answers are wrong.  They can also make notes in the question itself and they are encouraged to draw pictures to help them understand the problem.

I encourage parents to work with their children on homework, but I expect it to be the child's work and not the parent's work.  As their parent, I ask that you guide them when they have a question with their homework.  If every parent is working on this at home and I am helping them at school, then all my students will achieve success.
